Brussels Airlines connects Brussels to Madeira
Brussels Airlines started the connection between Brussels and Madeira on 1st April.
Brussels Airlines started the connection between Brussels and Madeira on 1st April. This operation of the Belgian airline takes place on Saturdays, until October, in an A319 with capacity for 141 passengers.
After Lisbon, Porto and Faro, Madeira became the company's fourth destination in Portugal. "Brussels Airlines is very happy to add the beautiful island of Madeira to its fast growing network portfolio," said Bernard Gustin, CEO of Brussels Airlines, which is a member both of the Lufthansa Group and the Star Alliance.
He added, "We look forward to bringing many tourists to Madeira and welcoming many Madeira islanders aboard our new weekly flight connecting Funchal directly to the European capital and to many other destinations on Brussels Airlines. We thank Madeira Airports for their support."
