Ryanair has launched a new route linking Faro to Warsaw-Modlin. This new operation, which runs throughout the summer season with a frequency of two weekly flights, represents a total offer of 23,436 seats.
In addition to this new route, Ryanair offers nine other regular services from Faro: Aberdeen, Belfast, Cardiff, Frankfurt-Main, Hamburg, London-Luton, Marseille, Newquay and Newcastle. "The increased offer of ten new regular services by Ryanair will allow us to carry 2,4 million customers a year and support 1,800 jobs at Faro Airport, which results from our commitment to continue to bring tourism and create new jobs in the Algarve and in Portugal," said Barbara Casanova, Sales and Marketing Executive Portugal and Spain.
She adds that the company expects to "continue to see great growth, boosted by our unbeatable low-price formula and excellence in "Always Improving" customer service.” In 2016, the airline represented more than 27% of traffic from Faro Airport.
