The Algarve promotes Meetings Industry through a new digital guide
The Algarve Tourism Association (ATA), the agency responsible for promoting the region as a tourist destination, has launched a new digital guide (the Algarve Meeting Industry - Facilities & Services Guide) to promote the meetings industry in international markets, and broadcasting the Algarve's offer for professional events.
Published in English, the new guide intends to consolidate the positioning of the region as a privileged destination for the meetings industry. From a business or tourism perspective, it is a tool professionals in the sector can access to find the information they need to plan any initiative - products and services, variety of infrastructure, access, activities, climate, security and value for money, all features that make the Algarve an attractive destination.
"Through this guide, any professional who is planning to choose a venue for an event, can realize the Algarve has an excellent response capacity for organising any type of initiative, offering a wide range of options. In addition to our capacity of 75 thousand seats, spread over several places suitable for the reception of congresses, conventions, meetings, incentives or even cultural and sporting events, the destination also offers, as a complementary offer, more than 40 golf courses, five marinas, a well-known racing circuit approved by FIA, 119 beaches or eight Michelin-starred restaurants. All these are attractive arguments in the decision-making process," comments Dora Coelho, ATA Executive Director.
