Wizz Air with new route between Faro and Budapest
Faro Airport and Wizz Air are presenting a new route between the Algarve and the Hungarian market.
Faro Airport and Wizz Air are presenting a new route between the Algarve and the Hungarian market. The connection between Faro and Budapest is now weekly (Tuesdays) until June 20th, after what is to be done twice a week (on Tuesdays and Saturdays).
An Airbus A320 will serve this new route, which represents a total offer of more than 15 thousand seats. Faro becomes the third airport served by the airline in Portugal, besides Lisbon and Porto.
"There is great satisfaction with the Faro - Budapest route inauguration, hoping that the Hungarian demand for the south os Portugal can benefit tourism and hotels in the Algarve and, at the same time, make it possible for all Portuguese who wish it to visit one of the most beautiful and dynamic capitals of central Europe, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, excellent gastronomy and a lively nightlife," said Gabor Vasarhelyi, Director of Communication for Wizz Air.
