Wizzair debuts in Portugal

Wizz Air has announced a new route that will connect Warsaw to Lisbon starting in March 2015. The flight will take place twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. The Polish capital is the first destination of Wizz Air in Portugal. This low cost airline flies to 100 cities in 36 countries. Tickets are now available for this new route Warsaw - Lisbon and can be booked at 

"Warsaw is our first destination from Portugal and we hope that the country will benefit from the influx of tourists from Poland, which can stimulate the creation of jobs in the tourism and hotel sectors", said Daniel de Carvalho, from Wizz Air, in a statement sent to Lusa. 

ANA Aeroportos de Portugal, the airport managing body, underlines the importance of this new route, from the business and leisure segment points of view.
