And the winners of The Eventeers are...

Six Portuguese event industry professionals were awarded at the first edition of The Eventeers, organised by Event Point.

The talent of six people working in the events industry in Portugal was recognised today at the first edition of The Eventeers awards, held on 20 November at the Estoril Congress Centre. There were five categories up for grabs: Technology, Inspiration, Ingenuity, Art and New Talent. Meet the winners in each category:

Technology: Pedro Magalhães (Europalco).

Inspiration: Pedro Rodrigues (Desafio Global).

Ingenuity: Ana Ludovina (Imppacto).

Art: Joana Vasconcelos (artist).

New Talent: David Alface (Europalco).

The nominees for each category were drawn from a general list of contributions from various people in the events industry, including Reinvent the event 2023 curators and partners, Event Point editorial staff and the jury. From this list, the jury voted on the five most referenced names, which were then presented to the public for a vote at www.reinvent.pt, and then again to the jury.

The editorial board of Event Point also decided to award its prize to Manuel Vaz, founder of Expanding Group, for his innovation and courage in taking risks with his own events and formats, in a year in which he has been working for 25 years.
