BTL 2022 with several news and highlights

The 32nd edition of the event will take place from March 16 to 20, with the presence of several destinations.

BTL, the major tourism exhibition in Portugal, returns to FIL in March for its 32nd edition. Promoted by the AIP Foundation, the event aims to contribute decisively to the recovery of the sector in the Portuguese economy. New segments such as innovation, culture, wine tourism and nature tourism will be featured.

Promoting exposure, business and networking over five days, professionals in the sector and the general public will have the opportunity to stay up to date with trends, learn about services and products and enjoy the various promotions available.

BTL will give special attention to wine tourism and nature tourism and presents an area dedicated to the seven Portuguese geoparks. These are segments that have been gaining increasing importance in the global context of tourism in Portugal, so the event aims to promote regions, projects and national biodiversity.

BTL will also maintain areas such as BTL Cultural, in partnership with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, which will have its own programming, and BTL LAB, a space dedicated to startups, trends and exchange of experiences about innovation and technology. Promoted by NEST – Tourism Innovation Center of Portugal, BTL LAB will feature a program with several conferences.

Regional tourism entities, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, transport, associations, among others will be present at BTL 2022. Several national destinations and more than 60 international destinations are confirmed. More information at www.btl.fil.pt.
