IT&CM Asia with news to engage all participants

IT&CM Asia, which runs from September 24th to 26th at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld in Bangkok, features a program this year with a variety of engaging activities to break new ground between suppliers and buyers, as well as the usual business meetings.

Initiatives such as Brand Showcase Presentations, Exhibition Walkabouts and Meet-The-Corporates - which were successfully launched at the China event last March - have been adopted by around 20 brands, which will complement their business appointments.

At Brand Showcase Presentations, about ten brands will share their news in 20-minute sessions, which are open to corporate, associative and MICE shoppers and journalists, for the first time. At Exhibition Walkabouts, destinations will be presented in guided sessions, aimed at associative buyers and journalists, in their pavilions. Meanwhile, at Meet-The-Corporates, which has a speed-dating format, participating exhibitors will meet and be in touch with corporate travel professionals attending CTW, an event that takes place at the same time that IT&CM Asia.

Also new is Say Hi to Everyone, an initiative coordinated by MICE Strategy and Hospitality consultant David Barrett and designed to break the ice. This session allows all delegates to get a sense of who participates in the events and identify the profiles they would like to find.

In the partnership chapter, the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) will present the networking moment 'Corporate Exchange, Exclusively Thailand', highlighting up to 48 Thai suppliers, attended only by corporate buyers. “Our new brand, Thailand Redefine Your Business Events, inspires us to find every window of opportunity to create value and better return on investment and time. Our partnership with IT & CMA at the launch of the 'Corporate Exchange, Exclusively Thailand' initiative is a perfect match. We are excited to see Thai suppliers and corporate travel managers take advantage of this new initiative to deepen their interaction,” says Nichapa Yoswee, senior vice president of business at TCEB, that will continue to promote the opening ceremony and welcome dinner, pre-event Bangkok tours and post-event Ayutthaya and Khao Lak tours.
