Associations World Congress returns to Cascais

After having already been held in Cascais in 2013, the Associations World Congress returns to Portugal next year.

This international event, dedicated to association leaders and executives from around the world, brings together hundreds of attendees each year, essentially seeking new knowledge to help them with their association's management tasks and networking opportunities.

Organiser Damian Hutt confirmed this return to Portugal at a session in Barcelona during IBTM World. "The destination has grown in number of universities, hotels and other facilities, so it is only natural that we return now," he said.

The Associations World Congress program, which following the successful experience of its previous edition in Gothenburg, keeps a variety of formats, from successful stories, campfires, keynote speakers, workshops, debates, etc., starts on April 15th 2020, with a welcome cocktail, and ends on 17th in the afternoon.

With the support of Turismo de Cascais, and the Estoril Congress Center as its operations centre, the Associations World Congress has already defined its local organiser, CPL Meetings & Events.
