ACI (Airports Council International) announced the winners of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards.

ACI (Airports Council International) announced the winners of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards. Porto airport was considered the third best European, surpassed only by Iceland's Keflavik and Moscow's Sheremetyevo.

These awards are the visible face of a passenger service benchmarking tool, used in more than 300 airports around the world. It analyzes 34 indicators, ranging from check-in to the access door.

“Airports are more than simply points of departure and arrival,” says Angela Gittens, Director General, ACI World. “They are complex businesses in their own right. As such, a focus on serving the passenger has become increasingly important to ensuring success.”

ACI is a worldwide airports association founded in 1991. The winners now announced will be awarded this year in Jordan.
