Recife Airport is the best in Brazil

The International Airport of Guararapes Gilberto Freyre, in Recife, was elected the best in the country by passengers in the Prize Airports + Brazil 2015. These awards are organised by the Department of Civil Aviation (SAC). The award had 15 airports as contestants. The purpose of these awards is to stimulate and improving the provision of airport services, aiming to the satisfaction of air transport users.
On its turn, Congonhas Airport, in São Paulo, was chosen as the best in four of nine categories: most efficient check in, most comfortable airport, most friendly airport and most efficient x-ray. Curitiba airport received the award for more facilities available; Santos Dumont, in Rio de Janeiro state, the most efficient baggage claim; Confins (Belo Horizonte), the most efficient public service and São Gonçalo do Amarante (Rio Grande do Norte) was considered the cleanest airport.
