The event takes place in November and the goal is to mingle and do business together
Portugal Business Meetings is set to travel to Algarve in late November, to connect French and Portuguese exhibitors, event organisers, advertisers, and other key MICE players to find out how they can gather their expertise and work together in the near future.
From November 20 to 22, Algarve will host 40 exhibitors from all over Portugal and connect them with a group of 50 French event organisers mainly from agencies but also corporate event planners.
For three days, the participants can go to one-on-one meetings, lunches, and other formal and informal activities, including a gala dinner, all set to enhance the destinations and its providers, as well as promote joint business endeavours, to organise events in Portugal soon.
The one-on-one meetings will take place on November 21 at the Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort. The rest of the program will see hosted buyers discover famous event venues in Algarve.
This three-day event will have Algarve Convention Bureau as a main partner. The entity will support a part of the program and present a global offer to the group of French MICE event organisers.
The aim is to increase the number of events organised by companies located in the French market and showcase Algarve as a great MICE destination all year round.
Business Meetings is an event concept created by the Meet and Com Group, leader in this industry in France, that has been organising MICE forums in the biggest French cities for 14 years.
The group expanded different event concepts to Belgium, since 2015 and Portugal in Spain, from 2019.
The main objective is to “contribute to the business tourism development of our partner destinations and allow event organizers to meet innovative and quality service providers”, according to the concept’s webpage.
