Living Tours invests in events

Living Tours invests in a new business area dedicated to corporate events and creates Living Events.
Guided by its mission to contribute to the development of the MICE sector in the Iberian Peninsula, a market it has been in for 20 years, Living Tours has invested 300,000 euros in the events area, which includes the creation of a specialized team, the development of a new technological platform, the acquisition of office space and the presence at international fairs to promote Portugal and Spain as a destination for corporate events.
“Although we were already operating with Living DMC in different destinations, we felt the need to professionalise our service with a dedicated and experienced events team. We serve a diverse market, including countries such as the USA, Canada, Europe, India, the Middle East and Brazil, where we have already held different corporate events. In this new phase, we want to be recognized for our ability to create memorable and effective experiences that help companies achieve their communication, motivation and networking goals,” says Rui Terroso, CEO and founder of Living Tours, in a press release.
Through Living Events, national and international clients will have access to a turnkey service that extends from the initial conception of the project to the final execution, including the coordination of activities and entertainment, venue hiring, logistics, decoration and complementary services such as transfers, accommodation and restaurant reservations.
The decision to invest in the events segment was driven by the growing demand from the tourist market for personalized experiences and the opportunity to respond to an identified gap in business tourism in the city of Porto, explains Living Tours.
