Press conference less than a month prior to the event presents main news.

In a session held on 18th October at the Rivoli Theater, the Bea World Festival Awards and Festival, held this year in Porto from November 15th to 18th with five Portuguese events amongst the finalists, introduced themselves to the Portuguese press. Rui Moreira, mayor of Porto, Salvatore Sagone, president of Bea World, and António Marques Vidal, president of APECATE, the local organiser of the event, attended the conference.

In addition to journalists, several of this initiative's supporters and partners were present, including, among others, Turismo de Portugal, Tourism Association and City Hall of Porto, EDP, Europcar, HF Ipanema Park, TAP, CP, Silva Carvalho Catering, Palace Catering , MGC Transportadora, FactorChave, Eventos By Transalpino, Bull Insurance, Europalco and ServicePack.
