A second link of the airline between the two cities is back and it will start operating from 1st June.

Emirates have just announced another daily flight between Dubai and Lisbon. It is the return of the second daily service of the United Arab Emirates airline, with connection to Lisbon, which will start operating from 1 June.

"Portugal is experiencing a recovery in its economy and a strong growth in tourism. Thus, a second daily service between Dubai and Lisbon will respond to the growing demand for this route, as well as offering our passengers in Portugal and the entire Emirates global network more options and flexibility to plan their trips”, says Hubert Frach, senior vice president of Commercial Operations for Emirates, West Division.

The new flight will be operated by an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER which has eight private First Class suites, 42 Business Class seats and 310 Economy Class seats. This second connection will depart from Dubai at 2:25 pm, arriving in Lisbon at 7:40 pm, departing the Portuguese capital at 9:15 pm, landing in Dubai at 8:05 am the following morning.

The additional frequency between the two cities will also allow Emirates SkyCargo to provide "up to 20 tonnes of cargo capacity on the plane per flight, giving businesses and traders opportunities to increase imports and exports," the press release reads.
